Our house

Today our house is getting renovated a little bit. I am getting my own room and our whole house is getting new floors. The floor type is wood i think and the floor i am getting in my room is carpet. The color is gray and the texture is FUZZY! Catalina is getting her own room also ( obviously )her theme is Catalina Island. Isn’t that smart? I don’t really know what my theme is. I’ll post a picture of it when it is finished. T\hat won’t be that long because the carpet is going to be finished on thursday of next week. It is so exciting. The wooden floors will be done on sunday. We will be staying at nana and grand father’s house during the time our room is torn up. It is really weird seeing the room without the beds in it. It also is especially weird with the living room all torn up and stuff. Well, thats all

Palm Springs

I am in Palm springs and I went to the arial tramway. That was super awesome. I went hiking on rocks there after the ride!!! We saw the movie Toy Story 3!! It wasn’t in 3D though , but it was still as exciting!!! We also went to the free movies and saw The Tale Of Despereaux. We went to a bunch of cool thrift stores and I gao an awesome new backpack!! It is orange and has a cool golfball that looks like a tennis ball- its so awesome!!! Our Vacation Home is so cool our room has four beds and i have the biggest bed in the whole room. Some of the family watched the Music Man and the rest went to bed. I was one of the people who stayed up and watched the Music Man and had an ice cream sundae. It had homemade Hot fudge on it made by my uncle. It was delicious. This morning I went to Elmer’s. I had french toast, eggs , and sausage. This is the last day we are going to be here. Well that’s all!!!

On my birthday I went to see Cats the play. I was only allowed to invite two friends. I invited Macy and Kristen. Then I always invite my two cousins Farrell and Pt. I also invited Yaya and Tia and I always invite them and my other grandparents . I saw the play and then went to a place called . I got pizza and a Shirley Temple drink. I opened some of my presents there. I got a D S game and then we went to our car by the subway and it was soo cool. I had a sleepover with almost everyone I invited. We told ghost stories about the small skinny face and the man with the gun outside the window. I didn’t have nightmares like I would have (just kidding). It was soo soo soo fun.

DISNEYLAND…..

On the ninth of June I went to Disneyland. I went with the McCartys and the Plews. The lines to the tram were super long, so we took the way to the park by walking. it was much shorter than waiting in the tram line. The first ride we went on was the mark Twain River Boat. Josh and Holly are the McCartys and they are really close friends to us and they are leaving to go to San Jose. I am going to miss them. They left when we were at disneyland and said goodbye to us. Then we went on the haunted mansion ride and it was so fun. it was just a fun trip altogether.

AWARD CEREMONY

At the award ceremony at the end of the school year, I got 2 awards. The first one was the National Physical Education Award. That is the 2nd highest you can get in Physical Education. The 2nd one I got was the A Honor Roll. That is also the 2nd highest you can get. After the ceremony, we went to the IHOP that is not next to the school. We call it the old IHOP. I got Baby Cakes, even though I am not a baby. After that, Nana and Grandfather drove us to Disneyland where we met Farrell and P.T. We had so much fun there.

Soccer!!!

My mom told me that I am going to play on an AYSO soccer team! She told me that when we were just about to sit down to eat dinner. It was very interesting because I had just gotten in from practicing hitting the ball towards the wall. I was also practicing to throw the ball way up high then catching it. I was pretty successful in doing that. Then she told me that pretty exciting news! She also told me that I was also going to summer soccer camp and that was really exciting. it is the same week as the voice camp at the Masters College. The soccer camp is at the masters college too. when we finally sat down to eat, I told Catalina. she didn’t seem as excited as I was probably because she wasn’t actually experiencing it in her own life. Maybe she was excited but just didn’t show it. Well that’s all for today folks a-b-b-b-b-bye.

A FOLK TALE-WHY THE SUN IS IN THE SKY

ONCE THERE WAS A BOY WHO LOVED MECHANICAL THINGS. WHEN HE GREW UP HE WANTED TO BE AN ACROBAT WHO TOOK OFF IN A CANON. SO, WHEN HE WAS IN COLLAGE HE STARTED PRACTICING ON IT. FIRST HE WOULD LEARN TO DO A TUMBLING ACT BEFORE HE GOT IN THE CANON. HE DID A FLIP IN THE AIR. THEN HE GOT ON A BAR AND DID 10 BACK-FLIPS ON THE BAR. FINALLY, HE WOULD LEARN TO GET IN THE CANON AND SOMEONE WOULD PUT IT OFF AND HE WOULD SAFELY FLY THROUGH THE AIR. ONE NIGHT OF HIS PERFORMANCE , HE DID THE FLIP AND BACK-FLIPS PERFECTLY. BUT THE PERSON WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO PUT THE CANON OFF WASN’T THERE!!! THATS WHY THERE WAS A PERSON WHO IS A BACK UP. THE BACK UP WAS STILL IN TRAINING ,SO HE WASN’T SO PERFECT. THE PERSON MESSED UP AND THE MAN WENT FLYING INTO OUTER SPACE- AND LITERALLY!!! HE FLEW RIGHT THROUGH THE BRIGHTEST STAR. HE WAS SET ON FIRE AND SINCE THHERE IS NO GRAVITY IN SPACE, HE STAYED THERE FOREVER- AND HE IS STILL THERE!!!

hiking

today is Saturday the 6th. I woke up at 11:15. Catalina and I watched Mr. Rodgers! After that we went bowling! We went with grandfather. He was in first place with 96 points. Catalina was in second place with 88 points! I was in third place with 66 points! Then grandfather decided to go see the buffalo. We couldn’t see any on the hill, so we went through the gate. There was a sign that said ,” watch out for rattlesnakes”. I have to admit that I was kind of scared. Grandfather said that there was nothing to be scared of. It was raining not too hard. We saw some brooks- not just regular brooks but babbling brooks. They were quite beautiful. We saw some nature. A rabbit running away from a coyote!! The coyote was cute, but scary. Then we walked quite a ways. There were really cool views. When we were at the very top and we saw a rest stop. we stopped there for a few minutes. It was really cool!!! Then we went to a place on the hill where people camp when they hike on the hill. we also saw a place where people hook up their hoses if they are fire-fighters. We stayed under a tree because it was raining. When we were there we saw a flock of birds flying back and forth for hours!! It was crazy coocoo (like Tia linda). We got to the end and took a tour of what used ti be William S. Hearts old house. Then we walked around the Veterans memorial Park. It was interesting. Then when we got home we told mom and nana all about it!!!

PE on wednesday

On Wednesday I had PE.  It was super fun!  at PE I was a leader.  A stretching leader.
 It was surprising to me ,because I haven't been a leader before.  I had so much fun in the front .
  Oh, just in case you didn't know, the leaders go in the front so the non-leaders  can see them.
  Anyway ,the leaders were all girls!  They don't have to run five laps around the gym...
I had to do only FOUR!!
 So I think being a leader is not to bad (PE means physical education).
